YFE12 Micro Excavator for Tight Spaces
As the demand for versatile equipment grows for small-scale construction, landscaping maintenance, and rural infrastructure projects, compact excavators are becoming a practical choice for many small-scale operations. Masenter recently showcased the YFE12 mini-excavator, featuring a compact design tailored for scenarios involving limited space, restricted access, and routine earthmoving tasks.
The YFE12 has an operating weight of 1,200 kg and dimensions of 2,200 × 950 × 2,200 mm. Its narrow body ensures excellent maneuverability in courtyards, narrow passageways, and small construction sites; additionally, its compact tail swing and minimum turning radius of 1,450 mm facilitate easier turning and operation within confined spaces.
In terms of operational specifications, the YFE12 is equipped with a standard 400mm bucket with a capacity of 0.025 m³. It offers a maximum digging depth of 1,700 mm, a maximum digging radius of 3,000 mm, and a maximum digging height of 2,700 mm, making it capable of handling common tasks such as trenching, earthmoving, site grading, and basic construction work.
In terms of power, the YFE12 is equipped with a KOOP 192 engine delivering 8.6 kW of power at a rated speed of 3,000 rpm, with a system pressure of 18 MPa. The machine utilizes mechanical controls and features a boom swing angle of 50° to 60°, enabling greater operational flexibility across various working positions.
In addition to standard flat-ground operations, the YFE12 boasts a maximum climbing angle of 30 degrees, enabling it to handle certain inclined work environments. For users operating on small construction sites, in residential gardens, on farms, or in landscaped areas, factors such as equipment dimensions, turning radius, and operating range are often more critical than simply opting for larger machinery.
As shown in actual images, the YFE12 features a crawler undercarriage, a front-mounted dozer blade, and a compact operator station, offering a simple and practical overall design; for dealers, contractors, and end-users seeking small-scale excavation equipment, this compact model serves as a viable option for routine, light-duty construction tasks.
Masenter continues to supply compact construction machinery to overseas markets, actively showcasing products and driving exports to meet the specific operational needs of different regions. Customers interested in mini-excavators are encouraged to explore the detailed specifications, operating range, and purchasing options for the YFE12 model.
